STORY
Ammonites crossed the Jurassic Sea millions of years ago, becoming extinct towards the end of the Cretaceous period. They were engulfed by the incredibly dark depths of the ocean and buried under sediment that later solidified into rock on the seabed.
The folding of the Alps, subsequently the Jurassic, caused primitive layers of rock buried deep into the ground to resurface, leading to the renaissance of the ammonites. This huge period of contemporary history led to the development of our current, modern chronograph and breathes new life into the ammonites.
